The Romanian Post has issued money order coupons (cupoane mandat poștal) for domestic postal transfers through much of the modern era, with Fabrica de Timbre — the state security printing works in Bucharest responsible for Romanian stamps and fiscal documents — handling production. A 2026 date places this at the outer edge of current catalog coverage, and it is worth noting that physical postal money orders have seen sharply declining use in Romania as electronic transfer infrastructure expanded through the 2010s and 2020s, making later printings progressively lower in volume.
