| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crowned facing bust of the pretender Alfonso de Avila rendered in late Gothic style, with the effigy depicted frontally wearing an elaborate crown and draped garments visible at the shoulders. The bust is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin legend running along the outer periphery between the inner and outer borders. Rosette stops punctuate the legend. The overall execution is typical of the irregular hammered coinage struck during the Castilian civil war period. |
