Obverse description The obverse depicts a detailed relief of the ornate crucifix from the 12th Station of the Cross at Westminster Cathedral, as carved by Eric Gill, showing Christ on the cross with decorative border elements at the terminals. The inscription WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL appears in the field to either side of the vertical shaft of the cross. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire design.
