Obverse description Crowned bust of Enrique III facing left, depicted in a stylized medieval manner with flowing hair visible beneath an ornate crown. The king is shown with a draped collar or mantle, rendered in the characteristic crude but vigorous hammered style of late 14th to early 15th century Castilian coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the effigy, with the Latin regal legend partially visible around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. The portrait, while schematic, conveys royal authority consistent with the iconographic conventions of the Trastámara dynasty.
