Obverse description The obverse field features a full-colour reproduction of Raden Saleh's 1857 historical painting 'Gevangenname van Prins Diponegoro', depicting the arrest of Prince Diponegoro by Dutch Lieutenant General Hendrik Merkus de Kock on 28 March 1830, set within an ornate silver-finished scrollwork frame in high relief.
