| Obverse description | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constans I facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style. The emperor's effigy displays a distinctive pearl diadem encircling the head, with elaborately rendered hair and a paludamentum secured at the shoulder. The cuirass is visible at the truncation, indicating military authority. The encircling legend DIV N CONSTA-NS P F AVG runs along the coin's periphery in incuse Latin lettering. The portrait exhibits the typical flat, stylized treatment characteristic of mid-fourth-century Roman provincial workshop production. |
