Reverse description A nude helmeted male figure, seen from behind and turning to his right, strides atop a fortification wall while raising a laurel branch in his right hand and bearing a large flag on a staff in his left hand. Behind him stretches a panoramic view of Antwerp with church spires, city buildings, and a waterway with a warship visible at left. The date 9.10.1914 appears to the left in the field, and the engraver's signature H. GRÜNTHAL is inscribed at lower center.
