| Reverse description | A full-length standing figure of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, draped in flowing robes, positioned centrally in the field and resting upon a crescent moon atop a serpent-encircled globe. She is surrounded by the traditional Marian symbols of the Litany: a radiant sun upper left, seven stars above her head, a mirror and chalice upper right, a domed temple or ciborium at left, a small ark or vessel at right, a treasure chest lower left, and a fountain lower right. The date appears in the exergue beneath the central figure. The two-word Latin legend TVTELARIS REGNI is divided across the field to left and right of the figure. |
