Reverse description The reverse is entirely typographic in design, bearing no central pictorial device. The merchant's abbreviated name, CHAS. PLUMB, arcs along the upper portion of the legend in raised block lettering. The words HUCKSTER MARKET are inscribed across the central field in three stacked lines of bold raised capitals, identifying the issuer's trade and venue. CINCINNATI curves along the lower periphery, completing the merchant's identification. A beaded inner border frames the entire design, consistent with the Civil War store card series produced by Cincinnati die sinkers of the era.
