| Description du revers | Three legionary standards arranged in a row at the centre of the field, the middle standard surmounted by a crossbar and flanked by two signa each bearing circular medallion discs and decorated shafts composed of rows of pellets. An eagle with wings spread is depicted above the central standard, facing outward. The composition is bold and emblematic, evoking Roman military authority, and is enclosed by the circumferential reverse legend. The style and type are consistent with the cistophoric series struck at Pergamum or another Asian mint under Nerva. |
