| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with draped left shoulder, rendered in the high-relief style characteristic of Flavian imperial portraiture. The emperor's effigy displays a broad neck and strong facial features with a prominent brow. The encircling legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible around the bust. The reverse tie-strings of the laurel wreath fall behind the neck. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with cistophoric coinage struck in the eastern provinces. |
