Reverse description A bound sheaf of seven upright ears of grain (corn-ears), their heads fanning outward symmetrically, tied at the base with a cord from which the stalks radiate downward. The design occupies the full field of the reverse, rendered with naturalistic detail characteristic of Flavian-era cistophoric coinage. The legend AVG GERM is disposed to left and right of the sheaf, with the letter P appearing below the binding at the base. A beaded border encircles the design.
