Reverse description Bust of King Ousanas facing right, wearing a headcloth and holding a branch in the right hand, enclosed within a reeded inner circle. The effigy is flanked on either side by vertical curved ears of barley, emblematic of royal and religious authority in Aksumite coinage. The surrounding Greek legend bears a Christian votive inscription invoking divine grace. The reverse design mirrors the obverse in composition while presenting an alternative royal portrait type.
