Obverse description Black enamel field with a central yellow enamel disc bearing the bold monogram 'ATG' in relief. Flanking the central disc are two International Maritime signal flags in color enamel: flag Bravo (solid red) on the left and flag Zulu (divided into yellow, blue, and red triangles) on the right, each labeled with their respective letter below. A gilt commodore's star insignia appears at the base of the central disc. The legend 'FROM THE' arcs along the upper rim and 'COMMODORE' along the lower rim, both on the black border. The rim is faceted and gilt.
