Obverse description Draped bust of Zeus facing right, depicted with characteristic beard and flowing hair, rendered in a Hellenistic style typical of Armenian coinage of the early Artaxiad dynasty. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan, with details worn but retaining traces of the facial features. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the period.
