Descrizione del dritto	Draped bust of the king facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, enclosed within a beaded border. The portrait exhibits the characteristic Armenian-Iranian royal style of the early Sophene period, with the subject wearing what appears to be a soft cap or tiara. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, consistent with early hammered provincial bronze coinage. No legend is present on the obverse.

Descrizione del rovescio	Standing deity depicted facing, rendered in a Hellenistic style, likely Zeus or a syncretized local divinity, holding attributes in each hand, possibly a sceptre and a patera or thunderbolt. The figure stands in a frontal pose with drapery falling to the feet. A Greek royal legend, partially legible, surrounds the field, reading [ΒAΣIΛEΩΣ] APTABA[NOY], identifying this as a coin of King Artabanos of Sophene. The strike is weak in places, obscuring portions of both the figure and the inscription.
