| Beschrijving voorzijde | Jugate conical caps (piloi) of the Dioskuri, Kastor and Polydeukes, depicted side by side in the field, each surmounted by a six-pointed star. The caps are rendered in low relief in a schematic style typical of late Hellenistic Pontic bronze coinage. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A central thyrsos — the staff of Dionysos adorned with ivy and berries — shown upright in the field, flanked on either side by the abbreviated Greek inscription reading ΔΙΟΣΚΟΥΡΙΑΔΟΣ, the ethnic of the mint city Dioskourias, arranged vertically to the left and right of the staff. Below the thyrsos, a small triangular symbol or monogram appears in the lower field. The design is characteristic of civic Pontic bronze issues of the late second to early first century BC. |
