| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, clad in the lionskin headdress (leonte), with the scalp and muzzle of the lion draped over the crown of the head and the forelegs knotted at the neck. The facial features are rendered in a compact, archaic Macedonian style consistent with fourth-century BC die-cutting. The surface carries a characteristic green patina of ancient bronze. |

| Reverse description | Upright mace, depicted vertically in the center of the field, flanked by the Greek legend ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ divided across the upper left and right fields, reading 'of Philip.' A spearhead appears at twelve o'clock above the mace head, serving as a secondary symbol. The composition is spare and heraldic, consistent with the small module bronze coinage of Philip II of Macedon. |
