| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with characteristic flowing locks and beard. The portrait is boldly modelled in high relief, with the laurel wreath clearly visible atop the head. The flan is irregular and the field plain, with no visible legend on the obverse. The die engraving displays a vigorous, naturalistic style consistent with civic bronze coinage of Phrygia during the late Hellenistic period. |

| Reverse description | Frontal cult statue of Artemis Anaïtis standing facing, depicted in the rigid, hieratic posture characteristic of this syncretistic Anatolian deity. The goddess is shown wearing a polos or kalathos headdress and a long, elaborately draped garment, with arms extended and holding what appear to be chains or festoons. Greek legends in two vertical columns flank the figure on either side, reading the ethnic AΠAMΕΩN and the names of civic magistrates. The overall composition reflects the strong Oriental religious influence present in the civic cults of Apameia Kibotos. |
