| 正面描述 | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, draped with paludamentum over the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Antiochene mint. The effigy is depicted with the paludamentum visible from either the front or rear, a common variation observed across this issue. The portrait exhibits the broad facial features typical of Hadrianic provincial coinage from Syria. |

Antioch's civic bronze coinage under Hadrian was produced within a complex local system that used Greek letter denomination marks — this Γ (gamma) piece sitting at the bottom of that hierarchy. The city retained unusual autonomy in running its own mint during the imperial period, and Hadrianic Antiochene bronzes are notably difficult to attribute cleanly, with McAlee identifying multiple die-linked subvarieties within what earlier catalogers collapsed into single types.
