Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Classical style with delicately modelled facial features and flowing hair bound by a laurel wreath. The hair falls in striated locks behind the neck, typical of Ionian die-cutting of the mid-fourth century BC. The portrait fills the flan with confident artistry, the face in clean profile with a slightly idealized, youthful expression. No legend or inscription appears in the field.
