Reverse description A prancing horse galloping to the right, depicted with raised forelegs and flowing mane, rendered with vigorous energy characteristic of Greek civic bronze coinage of the 4th century BC. The figure occupies the central field of the flan. To the left, the magistrate's name is inscribed vertically in Greek letters reading ΔIONYΣIΦANΗΣ, while the civic ethnic abbreviation ΚΟ (for Kolophon) appears below the horse in the exergual area. The reverse die shows typical wear consistent with the hammered bronze coinage of this period.
