Obverse description Draped and veiled bust of Laodice IV facing right, wearing a diadem beneath the veil. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with fine detail to the facial features and drapery folds. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular fabric of hammered Seleucid bronze coinage of this period. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend on this side.
