Obverse description Youthful head of Herakles in right profile, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp drawn over the cranium with the lion's open jaws framing the hero's face and the forepaws knotted at the neck. The facial features are rendered in a vigorous Hellenistic style, with clearly articulated brow, eye, and lips. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of struck bronze coinage of the Macedonian royal series.

Reverse description A Macedonian club is depicted diagonally across the upper field, its knotted shaft rendered in relief, overlying a bow encased in its quiver (gorytos) oriented horizontally across the middle field. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is abbreviated as Β and Α flanking the central device. A six-pointed star is placed in the lower field beneath the bow case, serving as a control or decorative symbol. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the devices boldly struck on a patinated bronze flan.
