| Obverse description | Draped bust of Hera facing left, her head adorned with a stephane (low crown or diadem), rendered in the broad, somewhat archaic style characteristic of Argive bronze coinage of the early fourth century BC. The facial features and headdress are discernible despite the heavily worn and pitted surface, with the goddess depicted in profile with hair arranged beneath the stephane. The field is plain, with no encircling legend or border elements. The flan is irregularly shaped, consistent with hand-hammered production methods of the period. |

| Reverse description | Large upright Greek capital alpha (Α) prominently occupying the central field, serving as the civic abbreviation for Argos. Beneath the apex of the letter, a Heraklean club is depicted horizontally in the lower field, referencing the mythological heritage of the city. The devices are boldly incuse and rendered in a simple, direct style typical of small Argive bronze denominations. The flan edges are irregular and the surfaces show characteristic ancient patination with areas of reddish-brown bronze visible beneath the dark green corrosion. |
