Beschrijving keerzijde	The eponymous nymph Phalanna seated to right upon a high-backed chair or throne, depicted in three-quarter view. She holds a mirror in her right hand and raises her left hand to arrange her hair, a motif well attested in Thessalian civic coinage as an expression of local mythological identity. The figure is rendered in simple but expressive style, with drapery suggested by incised lines. The ethnic legend ΦΑΛ ΑΝΝ is divided across the field on either side of the figure.
