Casa de Moneda de Chile has issued commemorative collector notes before, but this one carries an unusual subject: Margot Duhalde, the Chilean aviator who flew for the Free French Air Forces during the Second World War as one of the Air Transport Auxiliary's few non-British women. She delivered aircraft across Britain under wartime conditions and was later awarded the Légion d'honneur by France — recognition that came decades after her service.
