Obverse description Central device depicts a standing male figure in traditional Russian peasant attire, including bast shoes (lapti), flanked by log houses in the field. The circular legend reads around the periphery, and the date 1462 appears in the lower exergue. A small hole is pierced at the top of the token.

Reverse description Central device features the coat of arms of Yegoryevsk, depicting St. George slaying a dragon in the lower half and crossed tools in the upper half, set within a shield. The year 1997 is divided either side of the shield. A rectangular banner at the top bears the month legend, and a circular legend runs around the lower periphery. A small hole is pierced at the top of the token.
