| Beschrijving keerzijde | Androcephalic horse advancing to the right with head emphatically upturned, a hallmark type of the Pictones series. The horse's tail is rendered in a dramatically curled volute, and an overdeveloped ithyphallic member is prominently depicted between the hind legs, a fertility or apotropaic symbol common in Armorican and Pictonian Celtic coinage. The body of the horse is stylized with schematic limbs typical of late Gaulish bronze coinage. The field is plain and devoid of any legend or secondary symbols. |
