The attribution to Gallia Belgica remains working shorthand for a cluster of issues that resist clean tribal assignment — decades of find-spot analysis have done little to narrow the issuing group beyond a broad regional guess. The date range itself spans Caesar's conquest and the full reorganization of the province under Augustus, meaning this type could predate Roman administrative control or postdate it entirely.
DT#308 places it within a typological sequence rather than a firm political attribution.
