Reverse description A horse shown in a stepping or prancing pose facing right, rendered in the schematic Celtic style with elongated legs and a stylised body. Ring or pellet ornaments are disposed in the field above the horse, consistent with the decorative vocabulary of Cantian coinage. The design fills the irregular flan with characteristic asymmetry. The relief is low and the strike slightly off-centre, as is typical of hand-struck Iron Age bronzes from the south-eastern British tribes.
