| Obverse description | Central large pellet within a raised concave square frame, formed by four curvilinear scroll motifs arranged symmetrically around the central boss, creating a fourfold decorative pattern characteristic of Late Iron Age Celtic die-work. The inscription is distributed in the four quadrants between the scrolls, with each letter group occupying a separate corner of the design field. The overall composition reflects the Abstract-geometric artistic tradition of Atrebatic-influenced Celtic coinage. |
