Bronze Unit - Addedomaros Addedomaros Horses Right

Addedomaros is among the earliest named rulers attested on British coinage, predating the Roman conquest by roughly a century. His issues, concentrated in the territory of the Trinovantes in what is now Essex and Hertfordshire, suggest a degree of centralised authority unusual for late Iron Age Britain — a ruler confident enough in his position to put his name on metal.

ABC 2547 is one of the scarcer types in his output. The bronze series generally survives in worse condition than his gold staters, having circulated more heavily among lower-status transactions.
