Obverse description Stylized helmeted head of a warrior facing left, rendered in the La Tène artistic tradition with schematic features. The hair is depicted in flowing strands falling onto the nape of the neck, and a beaded or torque-style necklace encircles the throat. The legend POOYIKA appears in the field before the face, inscribed in Latin script. The treatment of the facial features and helmet reflects the characteristic abstraction of Gaulish Celtic coinage of the late Republican period.
