| Obverse description | Draped bust of Dea Roma facing right, helmeted in the manner of a warrior goddess, depicted as a personification of the city of Rome. The effigy is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition characteristic of Pergamene civic coinage, with fine drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΘΕΑΝ ΡΩΜΗΝ curves around the periphery of the flan, identifying the deity. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with a hammered provincial bronze issue. |
