Obverse description Laureate and wreathed head of Demeter facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic civic style typical of Macedonian bronze coinage. The goddess is depicted with a grain wreath encircling her hair, a emblematic attribute identifying her as patron deity of agriculture and fertility. The portrait is modelled in moderate relief, with facial features partially obscured by heavy green patination consistent with long burial. The field to the right is plain and uninscribed.
