| 备注 |
Vooruit — the enormous Ghent-based socialist cooperative — ran one of the most sophisticated consumer distribution networks in prewar Belgium, operating its own bakeries, pharmacies, and shops across dozens of affiliated local branches. The Lebbeke afdeling was one of many satellite divisions that drew on centralized production while managing local membership accounts. Bread vouchers like this one functioned as internal scrip: members purchased vouchers in advance, which decoupled bread distribution from cash transactions at the point of collection.
The perforation was a simple anti-fraud measure, allowing the issuing branch to cancel redeemed vouchers cleanly. "Speciaal brood" distinguished the higher-grade loaf from the standard working-class "gewoon brood" in the cooperative's product hierarchy.
