| Descrizione del dritto | Bracteate type struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan with characteristic scalloped edges. A frontal bust of a bishop or ecclesiastical dignitary is depicted in high relief at centre, wearing a mitre and vestments, flanked on either side by a stylised architectural or foliate element, possibly representing croziers or pillars. The figure is rendered in the flat, schematic Romanesque style typical of 13th-century German bracteates. The entire design is enclosed within a double or triple concentric ring border. No legend is present; the coin relies solely on its iconographic type for attribution. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | As is standard for bracteate coinage, the reverse presents a mirror-image incuse impression of the obverse design, being the natural consequence of the single-die hammered striking technique employed on an extremely thin silver flan. The incuse relief shows the same episcopal bust flanked by lateral devices, all within the concentric border rings. The surface retains original silver patina with areas of grey toning consistent with medieval burial or long-term collection storage. |
