| Obverse description | Four-fold quartered arms of the Bishopric of Chur displayed within an oval baroque cartouche, centered in the field and enclosed by a beaded inner circle. The episcopal coat of arms features the characteristic ibex and other heraldic charges of the see of Chur. A Latin legend encircles the design reading the bishop's title and dignities, interrupted by small ornamental stops. |
