| Obverse description | Royal crowned cypher of Philip II (Felipe II) occupying the central field, formed by an interlaced 'P' and 'S' monogram beneath a heraldic crown. The design is struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of hammered billon coinage of the period. The abbreviated legend PHILVS appears around the monogram, referencing Philippus, King of Spain. The overall style is characteristic of the utilitarian small-denomination coinage struck at the Valladolid mint in the latter sixteenth century. |

| Reverse description | A stylized castle, the heraldic symbol of Castile, dominates the central field, depicted with three towers and an arched gateway. A banner mintmark appears to the left of the castle, identifying the Valladolid mint, while an initial letter appears to the right denoting the assayer or die-cutter responsible for the issue. The strike, consistent with hammered production, is irregular in outline and typical of low-denomination billon coinage of Philip II's reign. The reverse design follows the standard iconographic convention established for Castilian blancas of this era. |
