Reverse description A bold pattée cross with flared arms occupies the central field, with a small Greek cross placed in each of the four angles between the arms, a characteristic design of the Provençal blanc coinage. The cross is contained within a beaded inner circle, and the devotional legend in uncial script runs around the full circumference of the coin, interrupted at the top by a small crown above the cross.
