Beschrijving voorzijde Central field occupied by a quartered heraldic shield, the upper half bearing horizontal bars and the lower half displaying a lion passant to the left alongside a diagonal saltire or crossbill device, the whole enclosed within a rectangular inner frame. Above the shield, at the uppermost edge of the coin, appears a small figure or finial, possibly a cross or fleur-de-lis terminal. The field surrounding the shield is plain and unlettered, consistent with the bracteate hammered technique of the period. The coin exhibits an irregular flan with uneven edges typical of early sixteenth-century Norwegian ecclesiastical coinage. The obverse lettering E E E, associated with Archbishop Erik Valkendorf, may appear in the margin though largely indistinct on this specimen.

Beschrijving keerzijde As a bracteate-style hammered coin, the reverse presents an incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the heraldic shield in relief-intaglio with the horizontal bars and lower quartering faintly discernible. The surface is unadorned, with no independent legend or inscription on the reverse. The flan shows typical hammering marks and irregular edges consistent with the minting practices of the Nidaros mint in the early sixteenth century. The overall impression is shallow and partially flat due to the thin silver planchet used for this denomination.
