Obverse description Bare-headed bust of King Victor Amadeus III of Sardinia in left profile, wearing a draped uniform with decorative collar, occupying the central field. The circumferential legend reads VIC·AM·D·G·REX·SAR·CYP·ET·IER· separated by dots within a beaded border, with the date 1786 in the lower field and the engraver's name BERTONI inscribed below the truncation.
