| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate imperial tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid I rendered in bold Ottoman calligraphy, with the characteristic oval lobe, upper shafts (tuğ), and sweeping lower bow clearly delineated. Decorative floral or dotted ornamental elements appear to the upper right of the tughra. The mint name 'Kostantiniyye' (Constantinople) is inscribed in the lower portion of the field in Arabic script, accompanied by the regnal year notation. The entire design fills the flan with characteristic late 18th-century Ottoman die-cutting style. |
