| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the tughra or stylised calligraphic cipher of Khan Saadet IV Giray, rendered in Ottoman-influenced Arabic script. The ruler's name and titles are inscribed in multiple lines across the flan in flowing Thuluth-style calligraphy. The design fills the irregular, crudely shaped flan characteristic of hammered Crimean coinage of this period. No border or decorative frame is present; the legends extend nearly to the coin's uneven edge. |
