The calligraphic rendering follows the traditional Islamic epigraphic style used on Crimean Khanate coinage, with interlocking letterforms filling the flan. The irregular, somewhat oval flan bears evidence of hand-hammered striking, with slightly ragged edges. A fine granular silver surface is visible in the open areas of the field. |
