| Beschrijving voorzijde | Prominent tughra of Ottoman Sultan Ahmed III occupying the central field, executed in the characteristic calligraphic style with interlaced loops and upward-sweeping shafts. Decorative arrow-like finials appear above the tughra within the upper register. The mint name and AH date are inscribed in Arabic script below the tughra, reading 'Struck in Tiflis 1115'. The flan is irregularly shaped and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hammered coinage of the period. |
