| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan of irregular shape bearing the tughra or calligraphic inscription of Khan Arslan Giray in Arabic script. The legend, occupying the central field, renders the ruler's name and honorific titles in a densely composed hand. The strike is characteristic of mid-18th century Crimean hammered coinage, with the legends slightly off-center due to the irregular planchet. |

Arslan Giray's first reign lasted only from 1748 to 1756, interrupted by Ottoman removal and later restoration — the Porte retained effective control over Crimean succession throughout the eighteenth century, deposing and reinstating khans with regularity. His beshlik coinage reflects a mint operating under that political instability, with output volumes difficult to reconstruct given the near-total absence of Ottoman-era Crimean mint records.
KM#25 is among the scarcer attributable issues of his reign.
