| Beschrijving voorzijde | Five-fold quartered shield of arms of the Lords of Haldenstein displayed centrally within a corded inner circle, with the composite heraldic device rendered in low relief characteristic of early seventeenth-century hammered billon coinage. The arms incorporate multiple quarters including horizontal barry fields and a rampant lion in the lower sinister quarter. A Latin legend encircles the shield within the outer border, reading DNS · IN · HALDENSTAIN, abbreviating the seigneurial title Dominus in Haldenstein. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A plain Latin cross with splayed terminals occupies the central field, contained within a corded inner circle. Small ornamental devices appear in the angles of the cross. The circumferential Latin legend ✽ DNS ✽ IN ✽ HALDENSTAIN runs within the outer border, separated by rosette or star stops, repeating the lord's titular inscription as on the obverse. The overall design is typical of the simple cross-type Batzen coinage struck by minor Swiss lordships in the early seventeenth century. |
