| Reverse description | A bold cross fleury occupies the entire central field, its terminals terminating in stylized fleur-de-lis flourishes and enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A large six-petalled rose with a central pellet is placed in each of the four quarters formed by the cross arms, consistent with the Bellinzona mint's decorative convention. The outer legend, separated by a beaded border, references the issuing authority and the Bellinzona mint. The overall composition reflects the Lombard-influenced late Gothic die-cutting style prevalent in the Tre Cantoni monetary union issues. |
